What types of portrait photography do you offer?
I offer a variety of portrait photography services including individual portraits, family portraits, senior photos, newborn and children portraits, couples and engagement sessions, and branding portraits.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session by contacting me through my website's contact form, via email, or by phone. We'll discuss your needs, schedule a date, and go over any details to ensure your session is perfect.
Where are you located and what areas do you serve?
I am based in Granville County and serve the surrounding areas including Vance, Durham, Person, Wake, Franklin, and Mecklenburg counties. I also photograph at various locations, including Topsail Island, NC.
Do you offer outdoor and studio sessions?
Yes, I offer both outdoor and studio sessions. We can discuss what setting will best suit your vision for the portraits.
What should we wear for our portrait session?
Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I recommend coordinating colors without being too matchy-matchy. Avoid busy patterns or logos, and consider the location and season when choosing your outfits.
How long does a portrait session last?
Sessions typically last around 1 hour, depending on the type of session and the number of people being photographed.
How far in advance should I book my session?
It's best to book your session at least 2-3 weeks in advance. However, during peak seasons, such as spring and fall, earlier booking is recommended to ensure availability.
What is included in the session fee?
The session fee includes the time and talent of the photographer, a pre-session consultation, the photo session itself, basic retouching of images, and a private online gallery for viewing and ordering prints.
Do you offer digital files?
Yes, digital files are available for purchase. Packages can include a set number of high-resolution digital images, with the option to buy additional images if desired.
When will we receive our photos?
You can expect to receive your edited photos within 2-3 weeks after the session. I’ll provide a private online gallery where you can view and download your images.
Do you offer prints and albums?
Yes, I offer a variety of print products including prints, canvases, and albums. These can be ordered directly through your online gallery.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our outdoor session?
If the weather is unfavorable, we can reschedule the session for another day at no additional cost. Your comfort and the quality of your portraits are my top priorities.
Can I bring props or pets to the session?
Absolutely! Props and pets can add a personal touch to your portraits. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
How do you ensure that we feel relaxed and natural during the session?
I strive to create a comfortable and fun environment during the session. I’ll guide you through poses and activities that feel natural and capture genuine interactions and emotions.
What if we’re not photogenic?
Everyone is photogenic with the right approach! I work to bring out the best in everyone, focusing on natural expressions and candid moments to ensure you look your best.
